Two employees of the Russian Embassy in the Czech Republic declared persona non grata. This was told by Prime Minister Andrew Babish on Friday, June 5, for an emergency situation in Prague.
According to the Czech politics, this decision is connected with the history of transportation in the Czech Republic of the poison ricin, reports TASS. The alleged toxic substance in the country brought the Russians on a diplomatic passport. The poison could be used for poisoning municipal politicians.
Andrew Babish said that the Czech Republic is a sovereign state, because such actions are unacceptable for them. In this regard, they decided to expel two employees of the Russian Embassy and call them persona non grata.
Deputy Prime Minister and interior Minister of the Czech Republic said earlier that the police and secret services is no concrete evidence of the above incident.
