The Russian foreign Ministry reminded us about the "open secret"

Intelligence of the United States, which accuses Russia of conspiring with members of the radical movement “Taliban” (banned in Russia), is involved in drug trafficking, said special envoy of the Russian President on Afghanistan, Director of Second Asia Department of the foreign Ministry Zamir Kabulov.

“These countless kickbacks from the projects that were there, part of the same wonderful American intelligence that our accused of something, in drug trafficking,” said Kabulov, the TV channel “Russia-1”.

According to him, this mystery is an “open secret” and all, including those in Afghanistan, take it as a given.

Previously, the newspaper The New York Times wrote that a division of Russian military intelligence encouraged the Taliban to attack troops of the international coalition in Afghanistan, including U.S. military for a reward. In another publication, the publication has named chief mediator in the “conspiracy” of Russia with the Taliban: it is the Afghan smuggler and drug dealer Rahmatullah Azizi.

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov called the report false and “absolute duck”. The Russian foreign Ministry called the U.S. media published information false.
