great-nephew of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, a former FSB officer, entrepreneur Roman Putin headed the all-Russian political party “People against corruption”.
As Chairman of the General political Council of the party Grigory Anisimov, Putin was elected at the party Congress on the results of the secret ballot. He will hold this post for five years, RIA Novosti reported.
Roman Putin joined the party “People against corruption” on June 21. The political forces then introduced him to Putin as a “successful entrepreneur, public and political figure” and expressed the hope that his membership of the party will give “new impetus” in the implementation of its programme.
