Dor Bahadur Khapangi’s family has long hoped that he would grow up. Now the Nepalese is in the Guinness Book of Records.
A 17-year-old from Nepal is now in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s smallest living male teenager.
Dor Bahadur Khapangi is 73.43 centimeters tall – that’s what it says on the Guinness certificate that a representative of the Nepalese Ministry of Tourism presented to him at an event on Tuesday. The ministry representative told the German Press Agency that the certificate had previously been received from Guinness. Several photographers attended the event.
The youth lives in a small village about 100 kilometers east of the capital Kathmandu in the Himalayan country. The family had long hoped that he would still grow, said his brother Nar Bahadur Khapangi Magar to the local online medium “Herne Khabar”. But since that didn’t happen, they would have accepted that fact by now.
