Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin instructed the governors of regions to take under personal control the situation with employment in their regions, reported the press service of the Russian government.
This is just one assignment from the list at the meeting on 29 June on the situation in the labour market. “The governors should take the situation on regional labour markets under personal control”, — stated in the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
the Governors are obliged to establish a labor market monitoring and how they work measures to increase employment, especially graduates and young job seekers without experience. Heads of regions are obliged to send to the Ministry the results until September 1, and the Ministry will collect the reports until September 10, will present a General report to the government.
Mishustin gave instructions on development of the portal “Work in Russia”: there should be an opportunity for professional learning and dopobrazovaniya, as well as internships for young professionals, graduates.
According to the labor Ministry, from late March to early July, Russia officially lost his job 3 million 718 thousand citizens, and employed 3 million 36 thousand citizens. “In recent weeks, recruitment has been intensified, now employ almost 300 thousand people a week,” said Minister of labor and social protection of Russia Anton Kotkov at the meeting.
the Russian Government will direct more than 4 billion rubles for the creation of temporary jobs. This money will receive regions for a partial reimbursement for the salaries of employees. It is planned to increase jobs in construction, agriculture, transportation, housing, social services for the care of the elderly. In companies where employees transferred to part-time employment are encouraged to arrange for additional temporary work. These measures will help to temporarily employ more than 80 thousand people.
According to the labor Ministry, from April 1 the number of officially registered unemployed in the employment service increased more than 3.5 times. In June, about 6% of jobs in Russia remained under restrictions. In late April the economy of the regions was maximally closed: almost 28% of jobs in the country were subject to restrictions. By the end of may, the unemployment rate in Russia was 6.1%.
