At the head of a country already hit hard by the first u.s. sanctions entered into force this summer, the president of the islamic Republic, Hassan Rohani, has assured Monday that Iran would “work around with pride,” the new sanctions imposed on the same day by Washington against the oil and financial iranians. “I am announcing that we are going to work around with pride your sanctions as illegal and unjust, because they violate international law,” said Hassan Rohani, in a television speech.
