David Hasselhoff celebrated his 70th birthday. The actor also invited old “Baywatch” colleagues to the party.
David Hasselhoff turned 70 on Sunday (July 17). Of course, the actor insisted and organized a birthday party. Some of his former “Baywatch” colleagues have also made an appearance. Among others, Kelly Packard (47), David Chokachi (54), Jeremy Jackson (41) and Parker Stevenson (70) were present at the party in California.
“Baywatch” colleagues congratulate
Kelly Packard published several photos on Instagram showing her together with her former fellow actors. In the first one she can be seen hugging the birthday girl.
There is also a group photo with Packard himself, Hasselhoff, David Chokachi, Jeremy Jackson and Parker Stevenson – all beaming at the camera. “Happy birthday to the man, the myth, the legend,” she captioned the snaps. “One of my heroes turned 70 today! You will never meet a more generous, kind and talented man!” From 1991 to 1999, Packard had a variety of roles on Baywatch.
Co-star David Chokachi also shared a cute photo of himself with Hasselhoff. “It’s great to celebrate David Hasselhoff’s 70th birthday, he’s such an amazing person with so much love to share with the world,” the actor said. Chokachi played Cody Madison on Baywatch from 1995 to 1999.
Jeremy Jackson starred alongside Hasselhoff in the cult series from 1991 to 1999. At that time, the 41-year-old was still a child. “Happy Birthday, David Hasselhoff. My TV dad, my childhood idol, my acting, music and show mentor, and my dear friend and big brother in real life,” his post reads. Parker Stevenson, who played Craig Pomeroy, also posted a group photo showing him with his four old Baywatch castmates.
David Hasselhoff celebrates cheerfully
David Hasselhoff, on the other hand, posted a short video of his birthday party. The celebrant can be seen in front of a three-story cake, behind him is a man on stilts. His guests can be heard singing “Happy Birthday” fervently. The camera pans to show the crowd before the ‘Knight Rider’ star blows out his candles.
Hasselhoff was particularly successful with TV series. He starred as lifeguard Mitch Buchannon on Baywatch from 1989 to 2001. But his music also made him a star in Germany. He performed his song “Looking For Freedom” in 1989 shortly after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
