on the day of voting on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation all the necessary requirements are fulfilled, so that any risks to the health of citizens was not. This was stated by the Chairman of the Central election Commission, Ella Pamfilova. The broadcast led TV channel “Russia 24”.
“We have focused on this, that no one had any doubt that a nationwide vote should be held so that no health risks were not” — said Pamfilova at the meeting of the CEC.
At the meeting, the CEC head was in a black mask, the members of the Commission sat at a safe distance from each other.
Pamfilova said that even in the face of a pandemic of mers and transfer the date of voting on amendments to the Constitution, the CEC did not stop working. Was suspended only those actions which are rigidly connected with the date of the vote. Therefore, according to Pamfilova, it is safe to say that “all the necessary requirements, actions will be performed”. CEC will demonstrate to journalists, as there will be a vote in compliance with sanitary norms and requirements.
Before it became known that voting on amendments will take place on 1 July. The corresponding decree was signed by President Vladimir Putin.
