“Virgin River” is back with new episodes. Season four of the series has been available on the Netflix streaming service since July 20th. And the twelve episodes could solve some unanswered questions right away…
Who shot Jack?
Ever since the season two finale, fans of the show have been wondering: Who shot Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson) and left him badly wounded in his bar? The police later arrested Brady (Benjamin Hollingsworth) as the prime suspect. But did his former Marines mate really shoot Jack? According to early reports of season four, Jack’s memories are returning in the new episodes and the truth is finally out. So, will Jack’s sister Brie (Zibby Allen) be able to hug Brady again anytime soon? Brie herself is also in danger of being caught up in her past.
Who is the father of Mel’s child?
Another mystery emerged at the end of Virgin River’s third season: Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) is pregnant but doesn’t know if her baby is from her late husband Mark or from Jack. During a period of separation from Jack, she had had herself artificially inseminated. Even if Jack is now happy and supports Mel, the question of paternity gnaws at him.
How is Hope?
Hope (Annette O’Toole) was barely seen in season three. While visiting her aunt, she was caught in a storm and ended up in a car accident.
